Cotton Candy Mod

Take a journey back into the 60's when the fashion of this era focused on innovative style which many referred to as the "modernist" or mod style! Various trends emerged from the trendy mod movement - bold colors, abstract prints, metallic silver, colored tights, collarless jackets, mini skirts and the list goes on. What many people don't know is that the mod style originated in London, England during the late 50s and by the early 60s, it became a full on trend worldwide.

So here I am! Paying homage to the mod subculture by personifying this semi mod ensemble. I focused on the bold aspect of this trend by selecting this vibrant cotton candy colored sweater, paired against white bottoms and details to add extra brightness and finished off the ensemble with these gorgeous silver sling backs.

The best part...it's fashionable and versatile to wear to work, dinner and beyond - all while remaining comfy!
